August 2017 - Current
Location: Redding, CA
What: Attending Bethel School of Supernatural Ministry
Why: The real question is WHY NOT? For 2 years God had been inviting me to make a choice. In May 2017 I had a dream about being in Honduras that felt significant. Then in July I had another dream that I was visiting Bethel in Redding and found out that they were going to Honduras. In my dream I exclaimed, "this is it! I'm supposed to go to Bethel because of Honduras".  The ironic part was I had visited Bethel in May and decided it wasn't for me, but through the course of my dreams I ended up applying and then through the wise counsel of a wonderful lady in Missouri, I chose to attend Bethel because of my desire to grow deeper in the Lord.  I have no regrets! In September of 2017, I felt God speak to my heart that Redding would be my home for the next 3-5 years. I'm so excited for all God has in this season!

May 2016 - June 2017

Location: Colorado
What: Figuring out how to be a missionary in the United States
Why: During my time at WorshipMob, I was praying one night and I felt God say to me, "This isn't a waiting place until you go onto the missions field again. This IS a missions field. So I'm trying to figure out how to walk that out. It has its challenges. America is not an easy place to be a missionary. But it is so needed, and when I take my eyes off myself, I see all those around me and plenty of opportunity to serve and share the love of Christ.

February - May 2016

Location: Colorado
What: Worked with WorshipMob, a worship movement. Spending as much time as possible with my now 99 year old Grandmother!
Why: While I was in Africa, and was praying about what was the next LONG TERM step, I was reminded of all God had done in my life during 2015. How he had fulfilled so many desires of my heart, and I remembered the desire I've had to spend time with Grandma. I felt the Lord again say to me, Why not now?  So I made plans to go to Colorado to be near her, and in the process stumbled upon an opportunity at WorshipMob.

September - December 2015

Location: Mozambique, Africa
What: Working with Iris Ministries at a Children's Center, Praying at Hospitals, Being Discipled
Why: After finishing YWAM, I wasn't ready to get off the missions field. I felt God's gentle prodding. Why not go work at a Children's Center now? It was a lifelong dream, but not something I really ever thought I'd do. I felt God challenging me, There is no better time than now. So I went!

June-August 2015

Location: Texas, Missouri, Minnesota, Arkansas
What: Visiting Family and Friends
Why:  Now that my YWAM experience is over, I am visiting family and friends, purging more of my possessions, seeking God and praying that God directs me to the next phase of my journey with Him.


January-June 2015

Location: Hawaii, Israel, India
What: YWAM - A global movement of Christians from many cultures, age groups, and Christian traditions, dedicated to serving Jesus throughout the world.  

Why: God told me to leave my job and go... In my first email to the YWAM leaders of my DTS in November 2014, I wrote "Quite honestly, I feel just the tiniest bit like Abraham... I don't really know where this road will take me, but I know the Lord is telling me to go, so I'm going. What's next after that, I'm still trusting in the Lord to guide and direct me..."
